With five national shows, all artists will perform with full bands, including KC & The Sunshine Band’s impressive 15-piece outfit. To help you prepare for what’s sure to be a spectacular event, we’ve created a guide which includes information on the Victorian shows, what to bring and how to get there.
Information on the Victorian shows
KC & The Sunshine Band will perform their first show in Victoria on Sunday, December 10 at the stunning Rochford Wines in the Yarra Valley. They will follow this up with another show at Melbourne’s magnificent Margaret Court Arena on Tuesday, December 12. Joining the celebration at the Yarra Valley will be Australian disco royalty, Marcia Hines. Playing many of their number one hits including “Get Down Tonight” to “That’s The Way (I Like It)” and “I’m Your Boogie Man”, KC & The Sunshine Band are sure to deliver an electric performance that will have everyone up and grooving.
Sister Sledge and Village People will open the night with their upbeat disco tunes. The Australian tour also sees the welcome return of Village People’s original leader singer, Victor Willis, who hasn’t performed with the group in over 25 years.
While times are still being confirmed for the Margaret Court Arena show, gates will open at 2.30pm for the Rochford Wines event with Marcia Hines coming onstage at 3.55pm. Tickets range from $99.90 AUD to $367.99 AUD and can be purchased here and here.
