After a successful Ballarat debut in 2019, and a two-year hiatus from the Covid-19 pandemic, the event triumphantly operated in 2022 to a sold out crowd. Presented by Kicks Entertainment , Spilt Milk has earned a reputation for hosting renowned Australian and International acts, promising an unforgettable experience for music lovers.

Previous international acts have included Lorde, Khalid, Chvrches, Steve Lacy, The Wombats, Jax Jones, RL Grime, Vince Staples, and Juice WRLD.
2023 Spilt Milk Lineup:
This year, the Spilt Milk lineup provides a combination of local artists, returning favourites and new international acts. Let’s take a look at the festival headliners.
Post Malone
After a double-feature stadium tour with the Red Hot Chilli Peppers at the start of 2023; which featured the popstar/rapper’s viral cover of Angus & Julia Stone’s ‘Big Jet Plane’, Post Malone is returning to Australia to headline Spilt Milk Festival. His fifth LP ‘Austin’ (named after his real name Austin Post) is released on July 28th 2023, and features a more rock and acoustic oriented sound compared to the melodic ‘cloud rap’ sound that influenced his earlier records. Since receiving immense success on his debut 2016 album ‘Stoney’, Post has developed hit after hit, skyrocketing into one of the largest, best-selling artists of the past ten years. Three of his tracks have accumulated over 2 billion streams each on Spotify, namely ‘Rockstar’, ‘Circles’ and ‘Sunflower (from Into The Spiderverse),’ the latter now approaching 3 billion streams.
Dom Dolla
Local house heavyweight Dom Dolla has been steadily growing momentum over the course of his career, from doing club shows merely 5 years ago to now selling out Sidney Myer Music Bowl twice. Dom is now one of the largest names in house music, and even though he only has ~10 original tracks in his discography, each of them has become instantly recognised tracks in clubs around Australia. After much anticipation, 2023 has seen the producer release the smash hit ‘Rhyme Dust’ with MK (#32 on the ARIA singles chart, #4 on NZ Hot), and ‘Eat Your Man’ with Nelly Furtado. Dom boasts 8 #1 singles on the ARIA club charts.
